Description
SAIC has an opening for DevSecOps Engineer, Principal to join our talented, dynamic team.
The key responsibilities for this position include: Design, deploy, operate, and maintain secure Cloud products and services within a Cloud-based environment to enable development teams to deliver features in the most efficient way possible.
Maintenance and ongoing development of continuous build/ integration infrastructure.
Provide Source Control Management/Documentation, create and maintain fully automated CI build processes for multiple environments; write, build and deploy scripts.
Support CI/CD tools integration, operations, change management, and maintenance.
Support full automation of CI/ testing.
Support policies, standards, guidelines, governance and related guidance for both CI/CD operations and for work of developers.
Enable successful release management by moving code from Development and Testing environments to Staging and Production.
Work closely with software developers, production support, and information security to automate and support infrastructure and tooling in cloud-based platforms.
Provide guidance and apply agile and DevOps/DevSecOps practices to streamline product delivery and reliable operations of product.
Continuously identify opportunities to automate and save time.

Ensures configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations.
Prepares deviations and waivers for government approval when specifications cannot be met.
Reviews all issued document change requests, document change notices and associated drawings for accuracy, completeness, and proper signatures.
As needed, structure and maintain databases.
Submits engineering changes to customers for review and approval; maintains records and submit reports regarding status.
Prepares configuration verification audit record sheets for all programs.
Establish and maintain deployment pipelines enabling infrastructure as code.
Qualifications Required Skills Ability to prioritize work and deliver well thought out and organized products within deadlines.
Demonstrated understanding of DevSecOps principals and their application within AWS and / or Azure to deploy infrastructure as code and application functionality for deployments.
Comprehensive technical expertise in a variety of DevSecOps toolkits, including Ansible, Jenkins, Nessus, Jira, Git/Version Control Software, or comparable technologies.
Proficiency with scripting and programming languages such as Ansible, Bash, and Python.
Proficiency with DevSecOps automation tools such as GitHub actions, AWS and / or Azure DevOps, and security/code coverage and quality scans.
Experience / Certification(s) with Microsoft Azure Gov Cloud and/ or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Experience with setup and configuration of Webservers such as Tomcat.
Experience with Azure / AWS cloud and serverless applications.
Experience with software development projects and lifecycle concepts.
Proven capacity for thinking leadership and a highly creative problem-solver.
Agility to express technical information clearly to different organizational levels.
Must possess excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with Azure / AWS policy, configuration, security management tools, and information security frameworks and standards.
Familiarity with messaging technologies and concepts.
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts and/or tools.
Strong time management and coordination skills, and ability to adjust in fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to include clear, authoritative, and professional written and verbal communication skills.
Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline is required.
9+ years of relevant experience.

Citizen.
Must be able to receive a Security Clearance / Public Trust.
Preferred Skills Microsoft Azure Govt Cloud, certifications.
