MAK Technologies is looking for a Junior Software Engineer (C++) who is passionate about quality work and user experience.
The ideal candidate should have a good working knowledge of basic programming languages, the ability to learn new technologies quickly, work fluently in existing codebases, and work in a team environment to develop high-quality work on schedule.
MAK’s developers work closely with their teams and product management to create simulation solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent related experience
Basic knowledge of computer networking
Strong object-oriented C++ experience
Familiarity with developing in both Windows and Linux
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Strong problem-solving abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Must be a “U.
S.
Person” as defined in 22 CFR § 120.

Background in one or more of the following is a plus:
Design and support of commercial C++ software development kits
Working knowledge of IEEE 1516 (HLA) or IEEE 1287 (DIS) a strong plus
Game engine development (Unreal/Unity)
Defense contractor, DOD, or military experience
