Job ID34670 Location Fire Emergency Management Full/Part Time Regular/TemporaryTemporary Overview This position is an on-call position (no guaranteed hours or benefits).
Representative Duties Maintains updated contact information for active CERT volunteers.
Coordinates course development.
Designs and creates publicity materials.
Staffs various division programs, activities, and emergency preparedness events.
Maintains inventory of all CERT related training equipment.
Schedules trainings with CERT team leaders and maintain course training calendar.
Performs other related work as required.
Respond to email and telephone requests for CERT training course.
Minimum Qualifications High School Graduate or equivalent, two (2) years of experience in fire suppression, or basic first aid, or emergency response, and training or An equivalent combination of relevant education or experience on a year for year basis.
Has successfully completed the National Incident Management System (NIMS) IS-700, and Incident Command System (ICS) IS-100 and IS 200, prior to this announcement closing.
Successfully graduated from the CERT Train-the-Trainer Course, E428 or G 428.
Required to possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s license.
This position is casual labor and will require working evening and weekends.
Preferences Advance computer skills using Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
) and audiovisual equipment.
Completed the CERT Program Manager Course, E 427 orG 427 Notes 1.
