JOB TITLE: Junior Developer

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The role of the junior developer is to bring a passion for software development and technology to the team and learn how to apply those skills to solve business challenges.
Their time will be spent learning from more senior team members how to create new solutions and refine existing ones, all the while honing these skills to develop solutions of their own.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions.
Collaborate with fellow engineers to implement new features and enhancements using various programming languages and technologies.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
Develop tests to ensure the quality of the end product.
Participate in the full SDLC, including code reviews to ensure code quality and provide constructive feedback.
Learn and apply new technologies and tools within the development ecosystem.
Troubleshoot and debug applications as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):
Required skills and qualifications
Knowledge of basic software development principles.
Fundamental understanding of how computers work and where software fits into the process.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.
g.
, C#, Java, Python, JavaScript).
Basic knowledge of web development technologies, such as HTML and CSS.
Knowledge of dotnet is a plus.
High school Diploma or GED
