As we continue to grow, we are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Transfer Driver to join our team! Job Description: As a Warehouse Transfer Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient transfer of damage-free furniture between our warehouse and showrooms.
You will be responsible for transporting furniture safely and on time, maintaining the integrity of load, and adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities: Safely operate and maintain company trucks.
Load and unload furniture using appropriate equipment and techniques.
Transport products between warehouse, showrooms, and other designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
Ensure that all cargo is secure and properly documented.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and supervisors.
Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications: MUST HAVE Clean driving record with no recent accidents or violations.
Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures strongly preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Position can be physically demanding, requiring long hours, standing, walking, stooping, and physical agility and dexterity, and is subject to weather extremes.
Ability to lift 75 lbs.
Ability to maneuver furniture of any weight above 75 lbs.
with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
