Daily Expectations as a Driver for Seasons Design Studio - theFMIgroup
✓ *Priorities *
* Check delivery route sheet first, gather your pieces, check all orders in their entirety and label appropriately.
Check Route sheet to see what time you must leave the shop to ensure deliveries are on time.
* Deliver floral orders in a timely and safe manner – efficiency is key o Follow traffic laws and be a safe and courteous driver o Sign in all orders upon delivery
* Always be polite and respectful to all clients/customers and team members.
* Follow instruction on route sheet from the daily orchestrator.
If delivery is delayed notify the funeral home and or the shop to ensure proper communication is taken.
o Do not deviate from the route sheet unless directed to by the orchestrator
* Help keep up the maintenance on company vehicles, oil changes, tires, etc.
Ensure that the vans are fueled with gas before returning back to the shop at the end of your route.
o Clean out your van when returning back to the shop, including personal trash.
o Take care of all vehicles and treat them as if they were your own
* Always park the vans in designated parking spots at the end of the day and make sure all vehicles are locked entirely.
✓ *Shop Tasks In Between and After Runs *
* Saddles are to be made and full on the shelves in the cooler
* Continuously keeping the cooler neat and tidy, removing bad product, empty buckets, and sweep out the cooler daily – per Team Leads instruction.
* Keep the floors swept up, dispose of excess cardboard, ensure that all trash is taken out throughout the day and at the end of the day.
* Help assist in all/any departments as needed or requested.
* Follow your written schedule, including starting and ending your shifts on time.
In the event that you may be approaching overtime, this needs to be approved by your immediate supervisor.
* Check out with the Team Leader or Orchestrator before clocking out.
