Job Description: We're seeking a committed full-time Class-A 53' Tractor Trailer Driver to join our team in Orlando, Florida.
As a Tractor Trailer Driver at Gill Logistics, you'll play a crucial role in safely and efficiently delivering and picking up medical supplies and equipment, ensuring their secure transport between facilities.
Key Responsibilities: Operate a semi-truck in compliance with state and federal transportation laws.
Secure and store medical items during transport, following verification processes.
Receive signatures and input proof-of-delivery information for each order.
Report any discrepancies to dispatch and the respective Area Manager.
Follow assigned routes, troubleshooting with dispatch for any delays or obstacles.
Complete handoffs at designated locations and maintain communication with other drivers.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any defects promptly.
Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Safely maneuver truck and trailer in loading and unloading areas.
Maintain cleanliness and fuel levels of the assigned company vehicle.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent.
ACTIVE CDL-A License.
Knowledge of pallet jack and forklift certified, preferred.
Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
Customer service-oriented with a commitment to company success.
Willingness to travel as required.
