*Seafood Delivery Professional – Central Florida*
Boston Wholesale Seafood has exciting opportunities to be part of a new seafood distribution business as a Delivery Driver.
Boston Wholesale Seafood is wholly owned and operated by Jeff Hazell, founder of Bar Harbor Seafood and owner of three Boston Lobster Feast Restaurants.
Since 1986 he has provided the highest quality and finest seafood from around the world to grocery, distributor, and food service customers.

This position is designed to operate a delivery van or box truck to deliver seafood to customers within the delivery area.
Route schedules could vary depending on customer orders.
*Summary of essential job functions:* Functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Prior to the trip, the vehicle must be inspected, including visual inspection of tires, windshield, and equipment.
* Must check fuel gauges and record mileage.
* Check load against customer orders and report any discrepancies.
* Receive delivery list from dispatcher and transport seafood to customers as per designated route.
* Utilize the delivery manifest to select items to be delivered using a refrigerated box truck.
* Climb into the truck using the step bumper to access items in the truck.
Locate, lift, and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
from the truck into customer storage areas.
* May need to negotiate steps, walkways, and storage areas to place items in customer refrigerated or freezer areas.
* The driver will accept signature and potential payment for items delivered.
*Required Qualifications*
* High school diploma/GED or state-approved equivalent
* 6-12 months of commercial driving experience
* Valid driver’s license
* Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
* Must be at least 21 years of age.
* Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years
* Pass a criminal background check.
