Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Transport Driver to join our team.
As a Transport Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials to various locations.
This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including manual transmission trucks, forklifts, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and other heavy equipment
- Load and unload materials from trucks using appropriate equipment
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or accidents that occur
- Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance as needed
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding transportation operations
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience operating various types of vehicles, including manual transmission trucks, forklifts, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, etc.
- Ability to safely load and unload materials using appropriate equipment
- Knowledge of basic automotive repair and maintenance procedures
- Excellent driving skills with a strong focus on safety
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational and time management skills
