Job Description
A Teacher, or Classroom Instructor, supervises, educates, and supports students to help them accomplish learning benchmarks.
Duties include planning lessons that target specific skills and concepts, managing classroom behavior to keep all students engaged in the lesson, and providing individual support and feedback for students.
Duties
● Create exciting, interactive classes on topics that speak to your interest and expertise.
● Maintain open and timely communication with students and families regarding progress.
Respond to parent inquiries about your classes and teaching methods.
● Provide a high-quality class experience for learners and families.
● Establish and enforce rules of behavior for students in the classroom
● Prepare lessons, units, and projects to complete learning objectives
● Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests of _every _student
● Creating, assigning, and grading various assessments for students, including tests, quizzes, essays, and projects
● Supervise students one-on-one with pace books and when they need extra help
Performance Responsibilities

Attend professional development opportunities to remain current within the field.

Conform to all rules and regulations prescribed by the State Board of Education and
Ignyte Performing Arts
3.
Use prescribed materials and methods in the efficient execution of their teaching duties according to the subject area or grade level to which they are assigned.
4.
To prepare and maintain such records and reports as may be required by State and Federal law: accurate attendance, lesson plans, and grades.
5.
T o perform other duties as assigned by the Principal and Director.
*TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: *Ten (10) months – Contract Pay Scale (Aug-May)
*EVALUATION: *Performance in this position will be evaluated by the Principal/Director
