Permanent Substitute Teacher

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Permanent Substitute Teacher.
As a Substitute Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives by providing instruction and support in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
This is a flexible position that offers the chance to work in various educational settings and gain valuable experience in the field of education.
This position may also serve in the front office as well as work with the school's administration team.
Duties: - Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher and deliver engaging instruction to students - Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning - Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure student behavior and discipline - Provide individual or small group tutoring as needed - Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with special education requirements - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student development and achievement - Monitor student progress and provide feedback to regular classroom teachers -Answer a multi-phone line system and check-in students.
Skills: - Strong classroom management skills to maintain a productive learning environment - Experience working with children of various age groups, Workforce Academy serves high school aged students.
