Required qualifications, skills and experience
1.
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from an accredit d college or university (a master's degree is desirable) a valid Florida teaching certificate.
2.
A minimum of three years successful teaching experience and one-year experience in a leadership role as grade-level chairperson.
3.
Demonstrated competency in knowledge of the Sunshine State Standards, scientifically-based
mathematics/science research, exemplary practices in mathematics/science instruction and data
analysis.
4.
Ability to plan, organize and direct activities for teachers.
5.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with teachers,
administrators; district staff, and the public.
6.
Experienced in facilitating adult training.
