Necessity is the Mother of invention.
I have been hit twice by uninsured drivers from behind.
Once in 09' which resulted in Cervical 5-6-7 being fused.
Then again in 17' which put me in a fetal position of pain for almost 3 years.
I had been practicing yoga for 6-7 years when the second accident occurred.
I quickly turned to self practice as I couldn't complete any other class I was used to attending.
Simply put this system is NOT for everybody.
My target is 35-65 year old former athletes who are "self starters" and don't have the need/time to commit to classes for the rest of their lives.
Also they internally understand the difference between my body hurts because of pain vs.
it hurts because my muscles are growing.

Simply put, a majority of the positions help; but when you are entering this practice with a compromised spine/discs/arthritis, it is of the utmost importance to be aware of and respect that reality.
30 Day MBA (Master in Body Alignment)
The concept is based on the premise of committing to a 30 day Course to build a new habit of "self practice" that is customized for the issues that exist in YOUR body.
Over the 30 days you will complete 20 hours of personal instruction over 9 sessions to take a full inventory of your body, also while completing 21 sessions on your own.
Through this process you will internally experience all the different positions/tools that allows your body to move back into a natural state of alignment.
The power of this process is by modifying the positions I have used this protocol to move my body 3 different realities.
First mitigate pain, second stabilize, then third to strengthen the body.
The core of this practice is a hybrid of Stretching/Yoga/TUT (Time under tension).
The first two are self explanatory, The TUT piece of the equation was something I have utilized to build muscle.
I had to find a way without straining the body and causing pain with quick/intense movements.
While practicing TUT you move the body throughout the different positions in a full range circular motion drilling down on a micro level focusing on the transfer of muscle responsibility.
These Slow/Smooth movements have caused two benefits within my body.
First they strengthen, second they have retrained the muscle to cooperate and relax so as to not spasm and cause pain in those areas of weakness.
