Paralegal Assistant

*Position: Paralegal Assistant* *Location: 11950 Corporate Boulevard Orlando, FL - 32826* *Duration: 6 Months* *Job Description:* • Serve as liaison between state registered agents and corporate entities; coordinate and track annual corporate filings; coordinate ad hoc corporate filings as needed; prepare related documents.
• Draft board resolutions and Powers of Attorney from sample forms; organize and maintain records of corporate board activity.
• Input information into internal databases and filing systems and generate necessary reports.
• Assist with the law firm retention process and law firm relations, including preparation of purchase orders and resolution of invoicing issues.
• Compile and summarize case data.
• Act as liaison between company attorneys, outside counsel, organizations and in-house employees.
• Support litigation functions, including those relating to document retention holds and discovery.
• Assist with claims management process.
• Perform administrative functions for members of legal department, such as mail review and distribution and scheduling meetings.
*Responsibilities* • Minimum of 5 years paralegal, preferably with substantial experience working in-house with a corporate legal department.
• Must learn quickly, be detail oriented and efficient.
Overtime is not available.
• Must be able to follow complex instructions on governmental forms/websites.
• Expert technical skills in MS Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and able to multi-task.
• Fluent English speaking and writing skills.
• Florida Notary Public Commission is a plus.
