Radiology Front Desk and Scheduling

*Medical Imaging front desk position with excellent pay, employee health insurance fully paid for and other full benefits.
* *This job posting is for the closing shift, which typically runs from 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM.
However, we remain open until the last patient is scanned and stat patients and add-ons frequently push the end time out further.
We are in the process of expanding our business hours and the right candidate is available for work on at least 2 Saturdays each month.
Saturdays are paid at 1.
5x pay.

*WE ARE A NON SMOKING FACILITY* *Job Description* Provides scheduling and registration service for referring physicians and patients to assist in the delivery of health care.
Provides outstanding customer service to ensure all patients feel welcome at the facility.
*Responsibilities* * Accurately and efficiently schedules patients for MRI/CT scans upon request from referring physician.
Ensures patients are scheduled at appropriate times.
* Creates patient charts accurately and collects required demographic and clinical information.
* Advises patients of insurance information.
* Orders patient bloodwork when necessary * Promptly answer all incoming phone calls in a professional kind manner.
Accurately take messages for radiologist or route calls as needed.
* Requests medical records/clinical notes from referring physicians as needed for authorization/collections.
* Maintains patient confidentiality and follows HIPAA guidelines.
