The Opportunity: The WUCF Community Events Coordinator will serve as a member of the Community Impact Team by working with all departments in the planning and execution of community engagement initiatives and serving as the point person for community engagement opportunities and events.
Responsibilities: Plans and executes in-person and virtual engagement events, including film screenings, station tours, and community celebrations.
Coordinates WUCF’s participation in community and partner events, such as parades, festivals, and partner gatherings.
Maintains records of events, including attendance and expenditures, and prepares reports on event activities.
Conducts research to identify potential new in-person and virtual engagement projects.
Recruits, hires, schedules, trains, and supervises students, part-time employees, and volunteers for engagement events and activities.
Monitors grant awards and underwriting agreements to ensure compliance with provisions.
Plans and oversees event promotion strategies, including copywriting or scriptwriting, and managing branded merchandise, print, apparel, and displays.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla.
