Pain Management Billing and Coding Specialist

Responsibilities: - Review and analyze medical records and patient information to ensure accurate billing - Assign appropriate medical codes (ICD-9, ICD-10) to diagnoses and procedures - Verify insurance coverage and process claims for reimbursement - Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve billing discrepancies - Collaborate with healthcare providers to obtain missing or additional documentation - Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations - Update and maintain patient billing records in electronic systems - Provide exceptional customer service to patients regarding billing inquiries - Weerily Billing Meeting and reporting - Overseeing Credentialing Team.
- Onboarding and Credentialing providers Experience: - Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting - Strong knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems (ICD-9, ICD-10) - Familiarity with medical billing processes and procedures - Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems - Experience with medical collections is a plus As a Billing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing for our patients.
