*Job Description* Central Florida Pulmonary Group is looking for Sleep Lab Scheduler to join our team! This position is non-exempt status, full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.

The scheduler is responsible for scheduling appointments for patients in a fast paced environment, following up with patients prior to their appointment, sending correspondence, and communicating with staff.
This individual will have excellent communication and computer skills.
*Sleep Scheduler Key Tasks and Responsibilities* * Answers a high volume of phone calls * Schedules sleep study appointments for both established and new patients * Perform insurance authorization for sleeps studies and verify insurance benefits * Confirms sleep appointments * Responsible for follow up calls to schedule appointments for existing patients * Advises patients on details of appointments and how they can prepare for sleep study * Sends paperwork to new patients * Communicates with staff, nurses, and physicians * Data entry into computer programs * Provides general company information to patients *Education/Experience* * High school diploma or equivalent * 2 years of medical office scheduling * Background in insurance verification and authorization * *Bilingual required* * Strong data entry skills for use in various computer programs (Greenway Prime Suite EMR, Excel, outlook) * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills *Benefits* * Comprehensive medical coverage * Dental and vision * Life insurance * Short and Long term disability insurance * 401(k) with profit sharing * Paid time off and paid holidays Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Employee assistance program * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Schedule: * Monday to Friday Ability to Relocate: * Altamonte Springs, FL 32701: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
