*Job responsibilities:*
* Perform diagnostics and repair, starting and charging system, cooling, re-charge, and electrical including common fault codes.
Repairs include performing leak detection procedures, compressor replacements, soldering refrigerant lines, evaporator/condenser replacements as well as front and rear main engine seal replacements.
* Perform repair and maintenance on reefer units in accordance with manufacturer's specifications
* Identify and obtain necessary replacement parts as needed to execute repairs
* Must be able to diagnose and perform proper repairs
* Conform to all safety and health requirements
*Job requirements:*
* 1-2 years of transport refrigeration technician experience
* Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
* Must be able to be “on-call” for after hours service
* Must have own tools
* Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
* Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb, and/or sit frequently throughout the duration of the day
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Attention to detail is key for this position
