1959/60 Harmony H58 Roy Smeck archtop - $1,000 (Waterford Lakes)

Very cool and rare Harmony from the late 50’s/early 60’s.
Configured like a Gibson ES125TD - dual pickup, no cutaway.
Dual P13 pickups, the smooth top variant of the P13.
Tom Brantley added pickup leads to allow for a phase reversal toggle switch to be discreetly added inside the treble F-hole, without removing original pots and caps (many of these old Harmonys had the same wiring components as valuable Gibsons of the era).
If you haven’t heard P13’s out of phase you’re in for a treat.
West Coast blues tone like you read about.
Chunky neck, action is very playable.
Back and sides were oversprayed black touchup over the original black years ago.
The spruce top retains its original blonde finish with wear marks commensurate with its age.
I love this guitar but don’t get to play it much in my bands and have my eye on something else.
