Hi, my name is Brett.
I am a 4-string electric bass player with vocal abilites (backup, lead) immediately available to start/join an ambitious original band or tribute band.
I have a lot of experience writing, recording, releasing, touring (worldwide), and have no competing conflicts for the right situation.
I am a fiercely driven professional and ready to go.
Essentially, I am looking to dedicate myself to one project in one of the following manners:
1\.
Looking to join or possibly form an ambitious original heavy band.
Up for rehearsal 1-3x per week.
I'm a big fan of bands like Baroness, Royal Thunder, Mastodon, Elder, ASG, YOB, Testament, Quicksand, QOTSA, Old Man Gloom, etc.
My Ampeg SVT II head and 8x10 cabinet bring every ounce of what is needed for any of the aforementioned bands.
2\.
Looking to join an ambitious and working tribute band.
I am very flexible on location and will travel as needed for initial rehearsals and all shows.
I recently filled in a handful of gigs for a Bon Jovi Tribute band called "Slippery When Wet" that are based out of Altanta, GA.
They do 120+ gigs per year all over the world.
If they needed a permanent player, I'd jump on that in a second.
Further, there were no rehearsals.
I sent an initial home video of me playing Living On A Prayer and Keep The Faith.
They gave me the green light, I learned the set and showed up to the first gig and nailed it.
I am looking for something with that kind of potential and drive, agnostic of the style or artist.
I am a versatile player and would find myself at home doing a tribute to any artist in the rock, hard rock, country, or americana genres across any decade.
My HeadRush pedalboard works great for this application which makes me exceptionally nimble and compact.
