I am part of a variety duo, that plays between 1 to 3 gigs a month.
We just played at Victoria's Oyster Bar on October the 13th.
We play electric guitars, with tracks, so it's a full band sound that people can dance to.
Acoustic guitars would also be welcome.
You would need to be able to play some leads on electric, though.
Because of recent events in my life, I have less time to play gigs.
We currently have several dates booked at the Moose Lodge (#466, on obt).
My duo partner, Richard, has an excellent voice, and is a decent rhythm and lead player.
My own vocals are passable, I have a handful of songs that happen to suit my voice.
You would basically be replacing me.
An experienced, mature person would be best.
Also, laid back and reliable.
And have experience playing with tracks.
If you happen to have gig connections, Richard would definitely be open to playing more often.
He is a super easy going retiree.
