Atrium Management Company is a property management/development company with properties located throughout Florida and Virginia.
The company has experienced tremendous growth and is looking to align itself with an exceptional Property Accountant.
Accountant reports directly to the Controller and will become an integral part of our accounting team.

The Senior Accountant is responsible for the following duties:
Support the Controller in managing the company's financial activities, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls
Assist the Controller in overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close processes
Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and budget-to-actual comparisons for multiple properties within the portfolio
Collaborate with property managers and leasing teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of property revenues and expenses
Maintain fixed asset records and reconcile capital expenditures to budget
Manage the annual budgeting process for assigned properties, working closely with property management teams to forecast revenues, expenses, and capital needs
Support the Controller in implementing and maintaining effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Assist with external audits and tax filings, providing documentation and explanations as needed
Manage all accounting and financial aspects of employee compensation, deductions, insurance programs and benefits, including invoice review, journal entries and account reconciliations.
Work with designated representatives to review and post AR, AP, contributions, payroll transactions and journal entries in Quickbooks
A successful candidate should have:
3+ years of accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required
Experience in property management industry accounting is a plus
Proficiency in property management software (Apfolio,Yardi, Real Page, etc.
) is a plus
Experience with Quickbooks
Experience with Payroll
Strong Excel knowledge including pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
Knowledge of GAAP and experience with financial reporting requirements for multiple real estate entities
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000
