Virtual Leasing Consultant (VLC) – Remote/ Hybrid Position

Job Description:
The Virtual Leasing Consultant (VLC) acts as virtual sales representative for a specific set of properties managed by ZRS for its client, whose primary duty is to cultivate leases by working leads in CRM, by communicating via phone, email, text messages, and direct messages.
The Virtual Leasing Consultant should be service-oriented and strive to create a positive first impression of the community for all prospective residents.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answer in-bound leads for multiple properties in addition to continued follow up with all prospective residents
Professionally communicate the features and benefits of the community using phone, email, pre-recorded presentations, or virtual tours, while working to secure an application for the respective community
Secure in-person tours for the on-site team to assist in securing a lease, If a virtual lease in not possible
Saty up to date on specials, availability and self-guided tour availability for all communities
Maintain strong working relationship with on-site teams at all communities to effectively perform functions such as but not limited to a tour coordination, move in appointments, and regularly communicate regarding properties and specific markets
Maintain expert knowledge of the communities and submarkets they work with by reviewing market surveys completed weekly by onsite team
Ensure operational and sales “best practices” are consistently implemented throughout the portfolio to achieve established goals for sales and service
Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act and all other Federal, State and Local laws pertaining to Multi-Family Housing.
Adhere to ZRS’s leasing/communication requirements
Complete all trainings assigned by Marketing Department within provided time frames
Complete any other duties assigned by Supervisor, VP, RM, RVP and/or Marketing Department
This position may require occasional out-of-town travel for property and competitor shops, internal meetings, educational conferences, etc.
The position and responsibilities described above will be evaluated biannually and may be subject to change based on needs of the company.
This may include transitioning to a property onsite position if deemed appropriate.
Qualifications:
Valid Drivers License
1+ year of sales or leasing experience with ZRS
High school diploma or equivalent required
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Demonstrate the ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment
Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Possess great active listening skills
Possess phone skills, including familiarity with complex or multi-line phone systems
Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software
Knowledge of property management software such as Onesite, Yardi, RealPage, Knock, RentCafe, Resman, Etc.
Detail-oriented with excellent time management, organizational & multitasking skills
In-depth knowledge of a company’s products and/or services
Possess knowledge of business practices and principles
Use and apply common sense and use good judgment
Comfortable working in fast-paced environments
Work cooperatively and in a teamwork environment
Respect and maintain confidentiality
Ability to cope with stress in a composed manner
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
