Infinite Title is looking for an experienced escrow officer to provide a variety of escrow related and managerial tasks to join the team.
Location: Orlando or Tampa, Florida
Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the escrow process from beginning to end.
Prepare Closing Disclosures and/or ALTA Settlement Statements according to client requirements and CFPB/TRID and RESPA guidelines.
Review documents such as surveys, purchase contracts, preliminary title reports, lender instructions/loan documents, and legal descriptions.
Open pipeline files promptly and order all required file documents, including HOA Certs, Tax Certs, and Surveys.
Collaborate with the title department to clear any title defects by ordering appropriate partial or full releases of liens.
Manage a large pipeline while meeting time frame requirements and maintaining continuous communication with builder coordinators, buyers, lenders, and realtors.
Prepare title/escrow company documents for closings, ensuring accuracy.
Apply knowledge of Florida Title Insurance Procedural and Rate Rules and standard terminology used in the title industry.
Collect all taxes, HOA fees, delinquencies, and principle/interest associated with the purchase property.
Conduct face-to-face closings with buyers, realtors, and loan officers, outlining the lender's documents with the customers/buyers.
Complete closing and funding process by obtaining funding numbers, copying closing packages for buyers/realtors, disbursing funds via wire or check, preparing and FedExing lender packages, and filing recordable documents via e-recording.
Job Requirements:

Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
Attention to detail is of the highest importance and degree.
Thorough understanding of real estate transactions and related legal requirements.
Ability to develop and maintain strong, positive working relationships.
Responsible for managing title agent(s).
Experience/Educational Requirements:
Associate's degree required.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Junior Escrow Officer or Escrow Officer.
Spanish proficiency preferred but not required.
