Apply today and let's discuss how your skills and background can align with our exciting position! _*Summary*_ Account Manager II oversees and maintains accounts/policies in the assigned Book of Business and on behalf of the Agency by effectively balancing Renewals/Marketing and Servicing/Customer Service.
_*Operations/Functions*_ * Exhibits Merrill Insurance Core Values each day – Humbly Confident, Find a Way, Leave a Legacy * Assists Producer(s) in identifying cross‐sell and/or up‐sell opportunities to round accounts * Communicates with clients in a professional and timely manner * Maintains renewal schedule to ensure all renewals are completed on‐time * Prepares proposals for assigned Producer(s) ahead of renewal presentations * Serves as support for Team including, but not limited to – marketing, binding and issuance of policies, escalations from Commercial Service Team (endorsements, certificates, audits and audit disputes, cancellations, billing, etc.
), * Manages claims for assigned Book of Business including, but not limited to – receiving first notice of loss from client, reporting claim to the carrier with speed and urgency, escalating when appropriate, communicating with the client, etc.
* Reviews dashboards and completes tasks as assigned * Maintains a clear and efficient desktop (physical and digital) – scanning in and attaching confidential client information as appropriate, working open cases/tasks in accordance with departmental standards, processing assigned documents, etc.
* Documents all material conversations, transactions, and policy changes in Agency Management System * Escalates policy, account, or customer service issues to Team, including Producer(s) or Management as necessary * Assists with any other duties/tasks as assigned by management and teammates during overflow, vacations, lunches, and PTO as necessary * Attends meetings, seminars, training sessions, and programs when assigned to learn about new products and services, learn new skills, and receive technical assistance.
Includes researching and identifying opportunities to expand on own personal development and knowledge.
* Reports to office after natural disaster(s) to assist with claims when safe to do so Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $40,000.
