- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of customer service experience in a professional setting
- Exceptional oral and written communications skills, in both a professional and productive manner
- Working knowledge of pharmacy software and proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Demonstrated ability to develop and enhance enduring customer relationships
- Demonstrated joint ownership of goal setting, commitments and accomplishments with field specialty account manager

- 1 year of supervisory experience- Make outbound sales calls to current referral sources to drive new business, in coordination with field specialty account manager (SAM) to ensure that targeting, strategy and messaging are consistent and highly relevant to the needs of the referral source
- Coordinate with field SAM to identify and initiate business relationships with potential new accounts within defined territory, to increase awareness of the pharmacy s services and capabilities and generate new referrals, increasing pharmacy s market share
- Respond to inbound calls from key referral sources, identify needs, provide information related to their patients, and assist with any requirements to facilitate referrals
- Maintain close contact with key referral sources to provide written and verbal status updates
- Respond to questions from field SAM, conduct research, track and gather information, and assist to make appointments or follow up with referral sources
- Build business relationships with pharmaceutical sales representatives; provide referral volume information and updates regarding trends and the needs and interests of referral sources.
- Generate and post faxes and mailings in support of campaigns to promote new products, indications and services to existing and potential referral sources in defined territory
- Analyze referrals and activities within the territory to identify and communicate trends relating to factors having positive influence on referrals
- Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements
- Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies
