Responsibilities:
- Knock on homeowners' doors to build rapport and develop opportunities, network with professional organizations within your community and leverage current relationships to maximize sales
- Conduct solar consultations with potential customers to assess their energy needs and provide appropriate solar solutions
- Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy and the financial incentives available
- Use software tools to analyze customers' energy usage, design customized solar systems and close sales
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and generate referrals
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project implementation and customer support
Skills:
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base
- Proven experience in solar sales, including door knocking, lead generation, prospecting, and closing deals
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms for customers and the company
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience throughout the sales process
- Knowledge of the solar market, including industry trends, incentives, and regulations
- Leadership abilities to guide customers through the decision-making process and overcome objections
- Experience with door-to-door sales or other face-to-face sales techniques
- Multilingual skills are a plus, as they can help reach a wider range of potential customers
