The role you’ll contribute:
This position is responsible for a wide variety of communication needs including writing, editing and coordinating and updating communication collaterals for various strategic human resources initiatives and operations.
The communication specialist will also support the human resources function in translating strategy and key messages into organized, visually appealing presentations and documents.
This position will help to foster and improve messaging and communication while maintaining positive relationships with project leaders.
This person will also be an active member on the Talent Strategy and Operations team and will continually seek opportunities to provide value to the department.

Support the communication needs of organizational strategic initiatives and team requests through effective and compelling writing, planning, coordination, design and executive, monitoring project deadlines for consistent delivery
This role will have an emphasis on internal team member communications surrounding benefits and well-being.
Create materials to advance strategic initiatives while following AdventHealth graphic standards and policies, keeping messages consistent and standardized, escalating risks to supervisor and department leaders as appropriate
Serve as champion for brand standards to maintain strong brand voice, tone and style
Writes clearly and informatively, edits work for spelling and grammar, adapts writing style to meet needs
Coordinate distribution of initiative communication toolkits to AdventHealth entities
Develop materials to support go-lives as needed, monitoring execution and distribution to ensure accuracy and delivery to end-users
Gather and analyze information skillfully and resolve problems in early stages with minimal supervision
Support HR strategy and system HR events by collateral and slide creation, in addition to mailing and coordination needs as assigned
Work closely with supervisor to support communication requests
Complete tasks in a proactive manner, actively seeking way to produce high quality, efficient work
Respond promptly to assignments and tasks as requested and keep commitment to deadlines
Display original thinking, seek increased responsibilities, demonstrate willingness to make sound and accurate decisions
Develop strong partnerships with cross-functional and inter-company peers
Assist with design of presentation content, as needed
Support HR Governance meetings as needed, including taking notes, building agendas, and meeting coordination
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, human resources, or related field required.
Minimum two-year experience creating content in a marketing, human resources, healthcare, communications, business admin, public relations or related field required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Strong writing and editorial skills required
Proficient in AP Style
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Flexibility and adaptability to change
Able to work with ambiguity
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, specifically PowerPoint
Working knowledge of graphic design principles and Adobe Creative Suite
Working knowledge of social media channels and engagement practices
Excellent interpersonal skills
Insightful and perceptive
Able to be creative and implement new ideas
Business knowledge
Understand and executes projects using a deadline driven mindset
