SUMMARY
The Associate Manager of Content Development – Producer oversees the day-to-day operations, production, quality, and long-term growth of IIA podcast and other video products to meet the general needs of The IIA’s global membership including, Internal Auditor magazine, All Things Internal Audit podcast series, and Getting Started With video series, and supports additional content delivery when needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

General Manages producer activities for all phases of IIA podcasts and content video development and works closely with the video/podcast production team.
Must be able to manage numerous projects simultaneously.
Identifies and secures podcast and video guests in consultation with Content Strategy Leadership team.
Creates and maintains schedule for podcast and video production and delivery.
Writes host introductions, interview questions, and segment scripts.
Works closely with the Content Strategy Leadership team to achieve project objectives and ensure that project plans align with the overarching content strategy and development program plan.
Along with the Content Strategy Leadership team, works to ensure consistency in quality and tone for all content.
Develops ideas and improvements for podcast and video series and original episodes.
Maintains editorial calendar and working documents area of SharePoint and ensures completed content flows correctly to The IIA’s resource library.
Identifies processes, best practices and resources, tools, and vendors needed to optimize podcast and video development and production.
Partners with internal teams to strategize the marketing, growth, and operations of multiple podcast and video series.
Applies good practice project management skills, tools, and techniques to support success over a wide range of projects.
Anticipates change and implements processes to keep change managed and controlled.
Escalates issues as appropriate to ensure success in meeting project objectives.
Stays knowledgeable and current on the internal audit profession.
Domestic travel, as necessary (approximately 10%) to five to six IIA conferences per year to interview and film.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position does not have supervisor responsibilities.

Ability to develop collaborative, positive working relationships with stakeholders both internally and externally.
Strong customer service and project management skills with an emphasis on scheduling, expectation management, and project status reporting.
Experience with an international organization is an asset to any role within The IIA.
Essential competencies include: Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills; and the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential.
Knowledge and understanding of business and technical writing, editing, the Associated Press Stylebook and Chicago Manual of Style.
The ability to understand and apply The IIA Style Guide.
The ability to shift priorities and manage multiple projects within established timelines.
The ability to oversee all technical aspects of projects from start to finish.
Superb attention to detail.

Multiple language skill is an asset to any role within The IIA Customer Service Ability to correspond with internal and external clients of all levels in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner pertaining to all types of communication, including e-mails, telephone, reports, letters, etc.

Computer Skills Ability to work in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Audition, and Photoshop).
Advanced ability to work in a computerized environment with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Knowledge of project management software including SharePoint.
