This Employer Participates in E-Verify *Job description* Retail Team Leads are passionate about the Aveda mission, hair, spa, and translating this passion to our Retail Advisor team, guests, and students.
This position leads a retail team within a multidisciplinary team to share beauty, fashion, and wellness - all through the power of touch.
In addition, the Retail Team Lead is responsible for developing plans and effectively scheduling the team, to deliver exceptional guest and student experiences and meet institute goals.
*Responsibilities:* * Lead, manage, develop, and inspire the Retail team to consistently perform the Aveda Guest Service Cycle and ensure guests have an excellent experience from beginning to end, while meeting overall institute retail benchmarks.
* Manage team to ensure " on-time" service flow through effective utilization of the Salon Biz Appointment Book.
* Monitor and coach retail team to ensure each guest is offered a ritual of renewal during every visit, which may include hand treatment, make-up application or neck and shoulder treatment.
* Ensure the retail experience center is "guest ready" at all times, which includes product presentation standards, replenishment and cleaning as required.
* Lead by example and coach team to provide hair and wellness expertise and excellent service to guests, in order to achieve established retail benchmarks.
* Plan and initiate monthly business driving events to draw in new and existing guests.
* Develop and manage team schedule that effectively covers the needs of the business while remaining within allocated payroll budget.
* Serve as an Aveda expert and coach on site, regarding Aveda mission, product knowledge and creating an excellent Aveda service experience.
* Maintain product inventory levels within required budget through effective stock management and accurate monthly inventory counts.
* Participate in the selection of new team members, plan and implement their orientation program, and provide continued development to ensure their retention.
* Ensure Retail Team displays a level of professional appearance at all times, in accordance with the dress code standards.
* Organize and facilitate monthly team meetings, daily and weekly huddles, and training.
* Attend meetings as required, which may involve travel.
* Manage expenses within fiscal guidelines.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
