Project Manager II (SWPPP/Autocad) - Winter Springs, FL

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to (reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions):
Create Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) for construction activities, including preparing permits, maps, and associated documents to comply with NPDES requirements
Ability to process Notice of Intent (NOI) and Notice of Termination (NOT)
Create and edit map drawings, import engineered construction drawings (AutoCAD)
Review construction plans and permits to obtain needed information of site details
Research site information (soils, topography, permits, etc.
) to navigate state and federal GIS sites
Create and assess the best solution for the client's needs as it pertains to soil characteristics, topographical features, surrounding impaired waters, information provided from Phase 1, Phase 2, ESA's, etc.
Build knowledge of local and national stormwater regulations using day to day experience with construction general permits
Maintain constant high levels of written and verbal communication both internally/externally as well as with clients
Assist as needed with reviews of SWPPPs/Projects for quality project deliveries
Assist in template preparation and updates as needed
Serve as a team lead for Lennar, DR Horton, and new project types and markets
Assist in new hire training efforts as needed
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Training Certification or Associates Degree in Drafting or Engineering Technology preferred but not required
Working knowledge in AutoCAD is a must, AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
Basic knowledge of construction, civil engineering principles, practices and methods as applicable to a stormwater design desired
Highly detailed oriented, strong problem solving, documentation and research as well as analytical skills
Team-oriented but able to work autonomously with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment
Basic understanding of topography maps
