Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
* Knowledge of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Principles
* Capable of developing plans and procedures for managing traffic congestion
* Preparing documentation for reports, procedures, and standards.
* Ability to research, organize and analyze information and make recommendations
* Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
* Ability to make effective presentations in a group or individual setting
* Knowledgeable in data collection, procedures and methods for traffic studies and traffic signal system operation
* Knowledgeable in traffic and safety principles
_*Requirements*_
*Essential Skills and Experience:*
* Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
* 5 years of experience, preferably in transportation management
* Preferable with Engineering in training certificate
* Engineering licensee or Engineer-in-training certificate is preferred.
