\*\*Position Summary:\*\* The Carpenter will be responsible for designing, constructing, and finishing custom wooden sales racks tailored to meet our clients' specific needs.
This role requires a blend of creativity, precision, and craftsmanship to produce durable and visually appealing display units that enhance product visibility and accessibility.
\*\*Key Responsibilities:\*\* - Develop and refine rack designs based on client specifications and industry trends.
- Select appropriate materials, tools, and techniques for rack construction, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal.
- Construct wooden sales racks, incorporating custom features and adaptations as required.
- Apply finishes to completed racks, ensuring a high-quality appearance and longevity of the product.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure that finished products meet or exceed company and client standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Manage inventory of materials and supplies, placing orders as needed to ensure the timely completion of projects.
- Provide input on process improvements, design enhancements, and material selection to increase efficiency and product quality.
\*\*Qualifications:\*\* - Proven experience as a Carpenter, specifically with experience in custom woodwork and display unit fabrication.
- Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and tools, including safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret design blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with design and production teams.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in carpentry or a related field is preferred.
