Williams Company is a 103 year old General Contractor servicing clients across the Southeastern United States.
Our Project Managers handle multiple projects across a variety of sectors, including Industrial, Education, Retail, and Multi-Family.
The ideal candidate will have a Construction Management degree and moved through Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager roles with another General Contractor.
*Responsibilities:*
- Manage and oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to closure
- Develop project plans, including scope, timeline, resources, and budget
- Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
- Utilize project management software to track progress and manage tasks
- Lead project team meetings and facilitate effective communication
- Identify and manage risks and issues that may impact project success
- Implement change management strategies to ensure smooth project transitions
- Monitor and report on project status, including milestones and deliverables
*Qualifications:*
- 7+ years of progressive experience as a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager with a Commercial Industry General Contractor.
- Proficient in project management software for planning and tracking projects
- Experience in program development and implementation
- Excellent meeting facilitation skills, including the ability to engage participants and drive discussions towards actionable outcomes
- Strong negotiation skills to resolve conflicts and reach consensus among stakeholders
- Change management expertise to effectively manage transitions and mitigate resistance
