Quantum Construction, LLC is seeking an Estimating Assistant for our Estimating Department in our Sanford office location to join our growing family.
We own two of the largest Masonry and Precast Companies in Florida.
We have been in business for over 18 years and we are known as an established turnkey hardscape construction company.
*Primary Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Assist estimating department with managing projects, including obtaining, reviewing, and filing construction plans.
* Prepare bid documents to assist estimating departments including project schedule, product take-offs, project scope sheets, and assembling sub-contractor and vendors.
* Build and maintain contacts database through Salesforce.

* Assemble applicable cut sheets and prepare proposal packages.
* Set up projects in On-screen takeoff for future estimates.
* Record and log all project and customer information within Salesforce.

* Communicate project specific information and establish case management through Salesforce.

* Communicate with subcontractors, review, and file their proposals appropriately.
*Other Duties:*
* Maintain Invitations to Bid, construction plans and associated documents within company shared drive and systems
* Participate in activities needed to support the management functions of the team, such as maintain subcontractor list.
* Performs office clerical work, such as filing and organizing.
* Works as a team player, with professionalism and contributes to the team accordingly.
* May perform other duties as assigned.
*Required Experience:*
* Requires working knowledge in reading construction plans and take-offs.
* Requires working knowledge of use of bidding portal websites.
* High level of knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, Bluebeam Revu is preferred.
* Excellent verbal and written skills.
* Must be able to multi-task, establish priorities and organize efficiently.
* One or more year’s construction industry.
*Required Education:*
Bachelor’s or Associates degree in science, business preferred, or related experience.
