MC Consultants is seeking an experienced General Contractor and Cost Estimator.
The Candidate will have experience with RS Means, Xactimate, and developing estimates from written repair scopes and quantity take-offs.
The ideal candidate has previously served in a forensic consulting role.
The candidate’s experience should include site investigations, attorney/client meetings, expert meetings and meditations, and preferably, depositions and trials.
A deep Cost Estimating background is required.
This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor with MC Consultants, a national consulting firm seeking to expand operations in the Southwest, Southcentral, Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and Northeast states.
Pay based on experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Progressively increasing technical experience and deep project resume on complex construction projects
Residential and commercial construction experience, High-rise/mixed-use a plus
Previous exposure to litigated construction matters
Excellent written and oral communications
Professional demeanor
Contractor License within State of residence (multiple state licenses a plus)
Willing to travel within State, possibly throughout region
