An excellent opportunity to join a growing General Construction company specializing in Site Utility Services.
We are looking for a Project Coordinator that can assist the owner/ Project Manager and Estimator and really take control of the office.
You must be a self starter, not be afraid to offer your opinions and ideas and ready to work! The days will fly by and you will enjoy working in a relaxed, collaborative office.

*Key Responsibilities:*
1.
*Bidding:*
· RFI and RFQ’s sent out and tracked as per Project Manager/Estimator direction.
· Sourcing Vendors and Subcontractors.
· Bid Bonds requested from Bonding Company.
· Bid Documents completed and triple checked for accuracy.
· Bid submitted via FedEx or Uploaded electronically as per municipality instructions.
2.
*Submittals and Request for Information (RFI):*
· Maintain both files with log to register submission dates and return dates.
· Request, Submit, and Track as directed by Project Manager.
3.
*Process Contract documents:*
· Manages signature copies, transmitting procedure, and original document file.
· Request Certificates of Insurance for Customer.
· Create Schedule of Value and Billing Template.
4.
*Billing / Pay Application / Draw Request / Accounts Receivable:*
· Track billing date and create a monthly draft of draw for Project Manager.
· Update / Maintain Requested Change Order Log (RCO).
· Submit any items with RCO requested by Project Manager or Owner.
· Follow up on outstanding approvals.
5.
*Subcontracts:*
· Create subcontract agreement with information provided by Project Manager.
· Provide Subcontract to subcontractor by email for Subcontractor’s signature.
· Track timely return of Subcontractor’s signature.
· File signed original in project file.
· Obtain Subcontractor’s Insurance Certificates.
· Maintain Subcontract list and values to budget.
6.
*Purchase Orders/Invoices:*
· Daily computer entry of purchase orders/Invoices (Approved by Project Manager).
· Copy to project file with a quote attached.
· Daily review of purchase with accounts payable invoice for accuracy.
7.
*Project Correspondence:*
· Type or review any project-related correspondence as directed by Project Manager or Estimating staff.
· Distribute and file in the appropriate electronic copy files.
8.
*Project Files:*
· Create, maintain, and organize files for new and existing projects, electronic or hand copy files.
*Qualifications:*
* Associate’s degree in construction or construction engineering-related fields is a plus.
* MUST be a self-starter with excellent computer skills, able to manipulate excel, word, pdf files.
* Must be a quick learner of Contracting Software.
* Communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
* Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proven ability to multitask and work productively in a high-volume environment.
