Job Summary
The Construction Management Program Director position assists the Workforce Development department by providing leadership and subject matter expertise in the development and management of the Building Construction Management associate in science degree, Building Construction Specialist College Credit Certificate, and related credit courses.
This is a full-time position.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include, but are not limited to the following:
Academic program and curriculum content research and design.
External stakeholder outreach which includes meeting with local construction companies to establish needs and expectations for training, program outcomes, and employee preparation.
Leadership and coordination of industry advisory board.
Teach up to nine (9) program credits per semester.
Other duties as assigned.

Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
Ability to produce professional documentation.
Building construction management subject matter expertise
Minimum Qualifications & Education
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters’ degree in a related field
Curriculum and program design and management experience
Higher education experience a plus
Construction management experience
Alternative credentialing may be considered in lieu of master’s degree.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Valid Florida Driver’s License.
Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Valid Construction Professional in Built Environment Projects (PMI-CP) Industry Certification preferred.
