We are in search of a skilled Fire Suppression System Designer to create fire protection drawings based on client provided plans and specifications.
The ideal applicant must offer quality, flexibility, versatility, strong organizational skills, problem-solving, and multitasking skills while working on various projects.
To ensure success as a designer, applicant should have experience working in and around Fire Suppression Systems and be familiar with Fire based building codes/Standards.
The ideal candidate would have some experience with AutoCAD, be comfortable working in various computer programs, enhanced math skills, and be open to learning.
*Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Prepares final drawings, Submittal Data, Hydraulic Calculations, and other project specifications.
* Able to work under tight deadlines while providing a high level of quality and attention to detail for each project
* Identify and resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information by conferring with other design departments, project managers, or employees
* Maintain database by completing a clear path of communication with project coordinators and department managers
*Qualifications*
* At least 1 year of experience in Fire Sprinkler Design Prefered
* Ability to follow directions and communicate with multiple departments
* Willingness to commit and meet project deadlines
* A keen eye for aesthetics and detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.
00 - $65,000.
