What to Expect
The Tesla Collision division is currently in search of a dynamic professional with a proven track record in people and process management.
In this role, you will oversee the workflow and production workforce at our OEM-owned Collision center.
Your responsibilities will include effectively managing business processes and operations within the Collision Center while demonstrating adaptability and excellence in a dynamic business environment.
We are seeking an individual with strong tactical problem-solving skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced setting, multitasking efficiently, and leading a team to successfully achieve business goals and objectives.
Shift: 12:00PM - 9:00PM
Monday - Friday
What You’ll Do
Partner with Regional Manager to optimize daily Collision Center operations, ensuring excellence in customer, people, operational, and financial aspects
Supervise work standards, production quality, resource scheduling, allocation, and vendor partnerships while ensuring compliance with regulations
Take ownership of the team's performance, driving continuous improvements for exceptional output and customer service while championing safety, efficiency, and overall excellence
Collaborate with internal team leaders to execute projects across various business functions, including but not limited to design, supply chain, logistics, legal, and accounts payable
Exceed site goals through regular audits of shop operations, forecasting, and surpassing objectives
Instill a culture of accountability, safeguarding the integrity of the Tesla brand, processes, procedures, and values
Provide regular coaching and feedback, demonstrate a deep understanding of your team's strengths and opportunities, lead change, and inspire excellence daily
What You’ll Bring
5-8 years of management experience in the collision industry or relevant roles in manufacturing, automotive, or customer service, in addition to 3-5 years vendor management expertise
Bachelor’s Degree, relevant Certificate from a Vocational School in Collision Repair, or equivalent
Experience in effectively leading diverse field, technical repair, or manufacturing teams in a technology-driven environment
Read and comprehend automotive repair procedures, with in-depth knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in collision repair; ability to run processes using Six Sigma or Toyota Lean
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence teams to achieve business targets
Follow instructions meticulously, showcasing attention to detail in tasks and responsibilities; capable of self-management in limited supervision environments
Valid driver’s license and good driving record, preferred
