They are currently seeking a Regional Repair Sales / Aircraft Window Technician with an A&P License in Mesa, AZ, Orlando, FL, Battle Creek, MI, Provo, UT, and Greensboro, NC.
What Is In It For You Salary: $45,000-$60,000 annual bonus, potential for substantial monthly incentives Position Type : Permanent - Full-time Benefits: Medical, Dental, 401k, Disability, Company-provided life insurance, FSA A Day In The Life of an Aircraft Technician / A&P Mechanic As the Aircraft Technician / A&P Mechanic, your primary responsibility is to provide aircraft window services to our existing customers and increase customer base and sales in the assigned Regional Market.
You will also inspect aircraft windows and evaluate defects for airworthiness, repair scratches, pits, and other damage to aircraft windows and remove and install replacement windshields and windows.
Essential Duties of The Aircraft Technician / A&P Mechanic Remove existing windows.
Prep and install new windows.
On-call 24/7 at customer requests for emergency AOG services.
Use an orbital sander with different grits of sandpaper to repair the damaged area.
Review, interpret, and understand the tech data as it relates to the function of the job.
Responsible for acquiring the purchase order from the customers as per the quote.
Schedule with the owner/operator and/or maintenance manager when our services will be performed.
Complete and provide billing information and evaluation forms to our home office in Wichita, KS; after the work is performed, provided to the customer the appropriate airworthiness documents to the customer.
Travel as required to customers’ locations via ground transportation, air, or airlines.
Perform weekly expense reports detailing the costs of gasoline, entertainment, customer relations, etc.
Sign off on all work orders and maintain traceability of parts to the appropriate work order.
Daily customer visits and/or phone contact with customers and potential customers.
Develop and grow the sales area for the assigned Regional Market.
Seeking guidance and direction as necessary for performance duties.
Keeping the supervisor /manager informed about the work's status.
Informing the supervisor/manager about problems and potential problems as early as possible.
Maintaining the work area in a neat and orderly manner.
Maintaining a well-groomed appearance appropriate for the position and situation.
Respecting the confidentiality of the Company, customer, and personnel information.
Performing other duties and tasks as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
Assist and train other employees as needed.
Education: High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) Experience : Sales preferred 1 year of orbital sanding experience preferred Auto body experience preferred Previous aircraft experience preferred A&P license or AMT certificate preferred Sales experience preferred Technical Skills: Ability to use various measuring devices Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to read and interpret blueprints preferred Ability to read and interpret technical manuals Problem Solving/Decision Making: Ability to read and understand mechanical and technical manuals and apply them to practical situations in the field.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.
Provide timely and incredible customer service.
