The Dispatcher's primary duty will be to establish and maintain the work schedules of the electrical technicians.
You will communicate with customers to ensure quality customer service in regard to scheduling, follow up, and ensuring all required information and updates are provided to the customers as well as all relevant in house personnel.
You will also communicate with the technicians to ensure they are moving according to schedule, take any issues into consideration and record it for future reference.
As a Dispatcher, you will.

Answer phone calls and reply to emails to provide customer service to all new and existing clientele.
(Scheduling, timeline information, status updates, etc.
)
Create new customers in CRM program with all essential information, and record all pertinent communications with clients in same platform.
Gather all relevant information to prepare work orders for crews, receive work orders from crews, and keep track of all unassigned work orders.
Prepare daily work schedules depending on geography and skill level of the technicians.
Dispatch work crews and vehicles to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests or immediate needs.
Monitor all dispatched vehicles to ensure timeliness for all scheduled appointments; and provide updates to customers if need be.
Relay information regarding work orders or other messages to and from work crews, field inspectors, supervisors and other personnel.
Speak with field supervisors and customers to resolve problems, requests for services or equipment.
Any additional tasks required by management.
