11, 2024 Program: AGMS Description:Seeking a highly motivated individual to provide leadership and manage a team of Quality Engineers in support of multiple contracts.
The Quality Associate Manager provides resources to serve as production floor liaisons, support quality/process investigations, and Failure Review Boards impacting production.
The QA manager responsibilities include: Personnel training, mentoring, work assignments, performance assessment inputs, and recognition / disciplinary action inputs.
Driving process, quality and technical improvements.
Drive and facilitate root cause and corrective action analysis.
Scrap, Rework and Repair (SRR) and customer quality escapes reduction.
Lead product fault investigations and support product fault investigations of assemblies manufactured with procured components.
Proposal / Basis of Estimates (BOE) inputs.
Risk mitigation activities: subcontract reviews, design/technical/baseline reviews, Transition-to- Production reviews.
Work with internal functions including program management, sourcing, operations, etc.
, as well as external suppliers and customers.
Analysis of performance data and completion of corrective and preventive actions.
Focuses on directing to meet critical schedules, resolve critical/complex technical or operational problems.
Will assure relevant standards, specifications, procedures, and processes are implemented and adhered to during operations and throughout.
The following skills / experience are required to be successful in the position: A complete understanding of procurement quality tasks as they pertain to risk management, hardware development and manufacturing, suppliers / subcontractor management, and customer support.
Must possess a high-level of adaptability and have a proven ability to demonstrate focus achieving positive results.
A strong process aptitude and demonstrated advocacy required, including proven technical ability and business judgment.
Must be able to perform in a team and customer-focused work environment, maintaining effective communication with internal / external customers including Government Representatives and DCMA.
Ability to coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Programs, and Procurement on product quality issues and effective issue resolution.
Ability to travel to domestic or international sites maybe required as well as overtime to support production and customer milestones.
Basic Qualifications: Technical Engineering degree at the Bachelor level or above The following skills / experience are required to be successful in the position: A complete understanding of procurement quality tasks as they pertain to risk management, hardware development and manufacturing, suppliers / subcontractor management, and customer support.
Must possess a high-level of adaptability and have a proven ability to demonstrate focus achieving positive results.
A strong process aptitude and demonstrated advocacy required, including proven technical ability and business judgment.
Must be able to perform in a team and customer-focused work environment, maintaining effective communication with internal / external customers including Government Representatives and DCMA.
Ability to coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Programs, and Procurement on product quality issues and effective issue resolution.
