CACI is seeking a Material Handler to join our team in Orlando, FL in the SA Photonics organization.
At SA Photonics, we specialize in the design, development, and manufacturing of complex, state-of-the-art systems for military, space, and commercial applications.
Our products include both optical and RF systems as well as sophisticated image processing & visualization systems.
SA Photonics has a small team of highly experienced engineers and scientists who work in tight-knit groups on state of the art projects while enjoying a good work-life balance.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Pulls raw material against work orders and assured materials are staged and ready for production.
Moves material to and from warehouse and production areas.
Update completed pick lists into ERP system
Assist Shipping and Receiving with processing shipments
Maintain Stock Room organization for easy picking of products and to promote accurate inventory control.
Perform inventory management functions in support of product manufacturing.
Complete cycle counts as directed.
Assures proper part revisions are in stock.
Prepare inventory and documentation (in conjunction with Buyers) for return to supplier shipments.
Package, prepare shipping documents and stage outgoing product and materials for transport.
Accept inbound deliveries from carriers.
Accurately receive raw material from vendors by utilizing established receiving procedures.
Participate in special projects/assignments as required.
Comply with security and confidentiality instructions and practices.
Empty trash and cardboard into appropriate containers.
Daily 5S of work area
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Minimum of one year in materials warehouse
Ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs.
Familiarity with ERP/MRP software systems such as Infor or SAP
Follows written and verbal instructions accurately and efficiently.
Ability to independently recognize, troubleshoot and resolve problems.
Ability to successfully adapt to change.
Strong customer service skills.
Consistently demonstrate positive and productive results with attention to detail.
Effective teamwork skills.
