Goldman Company, your essential responsibilities are to:
Install, assemble, and secure pipes, fittings, valves, and other plumbing fixtures according to project specifications.
Inspect and maintain existing pipe systems, identifying and resolving any issues such as leaks, corrosion, or blockages.
Perform repairs or replacements of damaged pipes, valves, or fittings to ensure optimal performance.
Utilize welding techniques to join pipes and fittings, ensuring secure and leak-free connections.
Fabricate and modify pipe systems as necessary, including cutting, threading, bending, and shaping pipes to fit specific requirements.
Conduct pressure tests, inspections, and leak detection to ensure the integrity and functionality of pipe systems.
Identify and address any deficiencies or non-compliance with industry standards.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent and at least four (4) years of field experience; completion of a Pipefitting apprenticeship program preferred, but not required.
Proven experience as a Pipefitter, with a strong understanding of pipefitting techniques, materials, and tools.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of welding techniques, including pipe welding and fabrication.
Familiarity with various pipe systems (i.
e.
, PVC, copper, steel) and their respective joining methods
Must be able to cut and thread pipe; as well as cut, fit, and butt weld type and socket type joints.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve pipefitting issues.
Must possess basic math skills.
Thorough knowledge of Building and Mechanical Codes.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
