What does the role pay? This is a full-time Orlando, FL based role with a pay range of $65,000 to $90,000 total compensation package including annual bonus at plan.
Base salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Role Summary Role is responsible to coordinate, supervise and deliver construction projects as defined by the contract documents, schedule, and budget.
Projects will primarily include retail and restaurant buildouts and renovations.
Workload will include multiple projects in various stages.
Day-to-day activities will consist of site supervision, internal planning in advance of site services and coordinating all field aspects of construction projects.
Role also includes some involvement in pre and post construction activities.
Travel This is primarily a local position typically managing multiple job sites within 100 miles of home.
Must also be willing to travel overnight from time to time.
Primary Responsibilities Support construction project managers as needed focused primarily on site-level planning and activities.
Perform pre-bid site visits to document existing conditions.
Assist in scope development, vendor network development, bidding, and sub-contracting.
Review pre-construction documents and establish full project understanding before mobilization.
Mobilize jobsites with complete documentation package including job site plans, sign in logs, incident reports, safety forms etc.
Directly provide site leadership and supervision as company’s lead on-site manager overseeing all trades and vendors.
Organize, plan, and manage all subcontractors and vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget and margin parameters.
Manage all project related communication with internal teams and customers, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers providing accurate up to date project information.
Submit and pickup plans, applications, permits and other forms for building departments as needed.
Schedule and coordinate building inspections and local AHJ activity.
Ensure effective project administration with support from internal teams including timely and accurate submittals, sub-contracts, purchase orders, change orders, invoicing, vendor payments, expense reporting etc.

Directly ensure compliance with all company job progress reporting standards including daily logs, photo’s etc.
Attend meetings with internal staff, vendors, owners and stakeholders as needed to ensure smooth construction operations.
Maintain accurate and organized project records and reports.
Requirements 3 years minimum proven construction experience leading commercial construction sites - non-negotiable.
3-5 years relatable and successful commercial project management experience on similarly sized, type and speed of projects.
Proficiency reading and interpreting construction plans and documents.
Demonstrated understanding of construction trades (architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, etc.
).
Proven experience working in a computerized construction management system.
Proficient knowledge of MS Office products (Word/Excel/Outlook/365).
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve project related problems and escalations.
Ability to effectively manage multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
Ability to draw details and sketches for coordination and drawing conflict resolution.
Practical working knowledge of state and local building codes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to establish, develop and nurture effective internal and external relationships.
High degree of initiative and strong customer service focus.
Professional, positive image and attitude to internal and external customers.

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, preferred, or comparable Technical/Vocational Certifications with experience.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
