*Job Description*
Founded in 2012, Comtel Networks is a trusted provider of network cable installation and troubleshooting services throughout central Florida.
We are currently seeking a cable technician to join our team! Comtel Networks is in a growth phase and this is an opportunity for the right candidate(s) to find a rewarding long term position!
*Responsibilities*
* Installation of commercial network cable systems (small to medium size) including pulling, dropping, terminating, labeling, testing etc.
* Managing service calls for maintenance and repair for various systems such as network cable, access control, alarms, telephone and fax etc.
* Communication is KEY! Must be able to professionally communicate with clients and coworkers regarding job status or any outstanding issues.
* Review and update Comtel scheduling platform with key information such as job completion notes and photos, hours on site, required follow up visits etc.
* Weekly submission of timesheets with accurate breakdowns of time spent on various jobs.
* Safe operation of company vehicle is a MUST!
* *Occasional* evening, weekend or out of town work may be required.
* Take pride in your work!
*Qualifications*
* 3 Years minimum experience in network cabling and system troubleshooting.
* Clean Driving Record is a MUST to have a company vehicle
* Able to lift up to 45 pounds and work at heights on ladders
* Must be self starter and driven to perform quality work!
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* VoIP and PBX experience is an asset but not required
Compensation will be based on experience and attitude.
