Randall Fire Services department is currently seeking top-tier Fire Alarm, Security and Access Controls Technicians to work on commercial projects in the Orlando, FL area and throughout Central Florida.

Position Summary
Alarm Service Technicians troubleshoot, repair, perform preventative maintenance (and occasionally install alarm systems).
Essential Functions
Service, maintain and repair fire alarm, security and access control systems in commercial buildings.
Program and test alarm systems to ensure proper functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fire alarm systems.
Provide good customer relationships and answer any questions or concerns regarding alarm systems.
Experience with conventional and addressable systems.
Electronically complete necessary paperwork and documentation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualification Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Valid Driver’s License.
Ability to pass drug screen and reference check.
Experience with hand tools and multi-meter usage.
NICET II certification preferred.
2+ years of documented service experience in fire alarm service.
Demonstrates an aptitude for troubleshooting systems and performing necessary repairs.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements.
Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures always.
Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
Ability to work well with others.
Self-starter that can work with little to no supervision.
Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
Physical Requirements
You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time.
You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job, be able to respond quickly to sounds, move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces, see and respond to dangerous situations, safely climb ladders while carrying tools/items, work in extreme weather, and properly wear personal protective gear.
