Looking for house or apt (Orlando and surrounding areas)

Hi everyone, My spouse and I are looking for a house, duplex or a house for ourselves and our cats.
Trying to move to Orlando or surrounding areas by late January/early February.
Our budget is up to $2000 per month with a bit of wiggle room depending on the area and amenities.
The Good: We have good steady incomes, are quiet and drama free.
We also have solid past rental history with many previous landlords.
The Bad: We are currently in the process of rebuilding our credit so we prefer to no credit check if possible.
The Ugly: We are dealing with a past eviction on our record that we are in the process of fighting to have taken off.
No money was owed and imo it was a clear situation of landlord retaliation.
A lawyer has been picked out and according to them we have a very good case.
We can explain what happened in full with receipts and documentation, but we want to be upfront about this issue.
